Lessons are purchased by the session. Upbeat Music has two 18 week sessions, fall and spring, and a
10 week summer session. If you happen to be registering after a session has started, the fee total will
be prorated to the number of weeks remaining.

Group Lessons

Available for 2 to 4 students of the same level (not necessarily the same age). The
cost of a 45 minute private lesson ($37.50) is divided by the number of students. When registering,
only one student fills out registration information and is designated the contact person for the group.

Quick Swap

Upbeat Music’s Quick Swap program is an email system for trading lesson times between students.
This convenience adds flexibility to your lessons by offering alternative times while not disrupting your
teacher’s schedule. There is no need to contact Upbeat Music or your teacher in advance as you will
not be altering the schedule, simply using another student’s time while they use yours. To set up a
quick swap, click on the quick swap link. You will see a list of students, their lesson days and times,
and email. Find a few students that you would like to try trading times with and send them emails
requesting that they trade with you. Try setting up a quick swap with at least one week in advance.
